The Gbemiga Football Club Founder's Cup, launching on January 7th, 2026, is the first of its kind—a youth-centered tournament designed to spotlight emerging talent, celebrate community-driven football, and uplift the next generation of players.

Organized by Gbemiga Football Club in partnership with the Oyo State Chapter of the Grassroots Football Developer Association of Nigeria (GRAFTADEAN), this tournament is more than just a competition. It’s a movement to honor the tireless efforts of grassroots football club owners and provide a platform for young athletes from remote areas to shine.

Who’s Playing?

The tournament features players aged 17 to 21, with each team allowed up to three senior players not older than 22. This age structure ensures a competitive yet developmental environment, where mentorship and youthful energy collide on the pitch.

Where It’s Happening

Matches will be held at two iconic venues:

• Olubadan Stadium

• Lekan Salami Stadium

These grounds will serve as the stage for dreams, determination, and dazzling football moments.
