PANTHERS SHARE POINTS WITH GIFTED FC IN THRILLING 3-3 DRAW

Gbemiga Football Club (The Panthers) Playing their first Competitive match against Gifted FC

The Panthers and Gifted FC played out an exciting 3-3 draw in a match that had plenty of twists and turns in the ongoing Sanjay Educational Consults with Homes & Property Football Championship.

From the kick-off, the energy in the air was electric as the spectators belted out "Gbemiga FC, Gbemiga FC, are the champions" echoing throughout the stadium, creating an intimidating atmosphere for Gifted FC.

Ernest Ojochide and James ThankGod put the Panthers ahead in the first half of the game, but Gifted FC's equalized just after the resumption the second half. The second half saw the Panthers take a 3-2 lead through goals from the Panther's Ibukun.

"It was a tough game, and we were unlucky to concede late goals. We could have won the game 3-2, but the referee's decision on the offside call cost us. We'll take a point, but we'll be kicking ourselves over that decision." said Coach Suleiman Tijjani

The Panthers' bench was a hive of activity, with coach Tijjani's team displaying great discipline, dedication, and determination throughout the match. Despite the draw, the team's spirit remains high. Gbemiga FC Director of Football, Coach. Awosanya, was present watching the match from the bench and expressed his disappointment with the officiating, promising to take the matter up with the organizing committee to ensure proper adjustments are made.
